Caitlyn Sanders

Caitlyn Sanders has been dancing for 11 years and teaching for 6 years.  She is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Minor in Dance.

Her competitive training began with the performing company at the Dallas Power House of Dance and then went on to dance for the competition team at The Centre for Dance, where she was Dance Captain.  She has been trained in jazz, ballet, technique, hip hop and contemporary. Caitlyn has been trained by many well known dancers such as Marty Kudelka, Justin Giles, Roger Lee, Kim McSwain and Dee Caspary.  Competition has always been Caitlyn’s passion and she has earned many individual and company awards at competitions.  She received scholarships from Adrenaline Dance and JUMP.  Her scholarship from JUMP brought her to New York to train for a week and then perform in the JUMP Finale.  Caitlyn has also been trained in cheerleading and won first place with her squad from Jesuit College Prep at the 2005 NCAA Nationals.  After high school, Caitlyn moved to Los Angeles where she attended college and was signed with Bloc Talent Agency.  Caitlyn attended numerous auditions and booked a few shows and even got to do a music video with Paula DeAnda, but she found that after a few years of auditioning that her true passion was in teaching.  She began to teach at Legacy Dance Academy and started teaching the dancers in the competitive company as well as choreographing company group dances and solos. Caitlyn currently lives in Dallas and enjoys teaching and performing as much as possible!
