Congratulations to one of our senior dancers Skylar Boykin for being selected as one of this year’s 152 YoungArts Finalists representing the top 3% of more than 5,000 applicants that were selected in a blind adjudication process. She heads to Miami this weekend for master classes taught by world-renowned artists, performances and exhibitions, and a further adjudication leading to the possibility to become a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts and visit the White House. Not only was Skylar selected as a finalist for modern but she received Honorable Mention for her own choreographic work and was a Merit Award Winner in jazz as well. Congratulations Skylar, we are so proud of you!
