This will be at the discretion of the instructor. We have a professional staff to ensure that the student is being placed in the class best suited for them, and ensure quality instruction at the correct level.
Our staff is very busy and has scheduled classes back to back. To best meet your needs and ensure the quality of each class, please set up an appointment with the office to meet with the instructor. We do care.
*Also parents, friends, or relatives will not be allowed in the studio rooms. This distracts some students and disrupts learning. Please use the observation doors, your children will be just as happy to see you there.
To ensure a quality-performing environment each student is required to pay a recital fee, before the Christmas holidays. Each student will also be required to purchase a costume at the teachers' discretion. The costume must be paid in full before the break or costume will not be ordered. No refunds will be given on costumes and shall be altered at the expense of the parent. Also, all balances must be up-to-date or student will be asked not to perform. Finally, student must also attend all rehearsals prior to performance or will not participate. Our goal is to build confidence and help each student to experience and appreciate the art of performing. Please help us do that.
REGISTRATION / ENROLLMENT:
Enrollment into a class or classes will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee for each student, as well as 1st month's tuition. Tuition will not be pro-rated if registered past the 1st of the month.
TUITION & HOLIDAYS:
Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. A late fee of $15.00 will be billed to your account after the 6th. NO EXCEPTIONS. There will also be a $25.00 charge for any returned checks. Tuition is a flat rate every month. No pro-rated tuition or refunds will be considered for students' attendance. If a student is enrolled the parent will be liable for full tuition each month. DI observes PISD school calendar. Some months have 5 weeks while others only 2 or 3. Holidays are not pro-rated nor are there any additional fees for months with five weeks of classes.
If a student misses class it can be made up as long as tuition is current. Please notify the studio of the class wishing to make up to avoid any inconvenience. Make ups must be made up within two weeks.
Any student can change classes as long as the office is notified and the instructor approves the change. If a student changes classes more than 3 times, an additional $10/per change will be charged.
Students enrolled will be charged on a month-to-month basis, unless the office is notified. A written notice must be submitted to the office with the class wishing to be dropped before the 1st of the month or the parent will be responsible for full month tuition. NO PRO-RATING FOR WITHDRAWAL. Teachers are not allowed to withdraw students; this must be done through the front office. A student that withdraws and then wishes to return will be required to pay the full registration fee again.
